City of Fresno’s recycling program had been retooled to meet California Board of Education standards. Our task was to fully rebrand and relaunch the program for elementary educators in the city of Fresno on a limited budget and time period.
CLASS IS IN SESSION FOR EFFECTIVE PR
Challenge
Solution
To appeal to elementary students and teachers, we created a tool kit that included a logo’d teacher bag, sticky note pads, pencils, parent information cards and a classroom poster, then partnered with GW School Supply for distribution.
Result
With booths just outside the doors of GW School Supply’s locations during its back to school high traffic time, we were able to get program information into the hands of more than 300 teachers. By the following Earth Day, the program was booked to capacity for classroom presentations.
“The resulting school education program (Grow Up Green) exceeded my expectations in professionalism, visual energy, and innovation.”
